no no, the idle mode i mean actually turns the computer off completely, everything you have open gets saved on the harddrive and when you boot the computer, it gets deleted from there again 8’I it also boots the computer faster

I just think it’s dumb to leave things on idle because it’s still using electricity (even if it’s a little amount) when it’s very easy to save tabs and things you’re working on into specific files.

I think I read somewhere that turning your computer off is actually good for refreshing it too; it helps speed mine up sometimes instead of constantly leaving it on. I used to leave my laptop on idle a lot of the time, you know, just shutting the top so I could open it up again and it always made it really laggy eventually.

Shrugs.

I just don’t like idle mode.
